Thankfulness: Today’s Wednesday Wisdom
Right now, I have an apple pie in the oven, a turkey thawing in water because it’s still too frozen and I started to panic, and children who have been so helpful today around the house as we prepare to entertain for Thanksgiving.
No matter how that turkey turns out, we will all be together tomorrow, and that’s really all that matters.
Today’s words of wisdom come from Meister Eckhart, who was a German theologian, philosopher and mystic, born near Gotha, in the Holy Roman Empire. He lived from 1260 until 1328, and his insight on being thankful is so beautifully put.
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!
If the only prayer you ever say in your entire life is thank you, it will be enough.

Me too. It’s amazing how blogging can bring people together and make them feel like old friends. Blessings all around the world! Hugs from Maryland…

Hi Steph,
You probably get sick of me doing this, but I’ve nominated you for another award. This time it’s because, although I’ve said it before, I value the friendship you’ve offered here. I don’t think I ever told you, but you are the first person out of my circle of family and friends that really reached out to me on WordPress. And now I can’t imagine my life without being part of this community. So thank you. And even if you don’t formally accept this award, just know that I appreciate you and your willingness to help someone get started in this amazing cyber world. 🙂 http://myriad234.wordpress.com/2013/12/02/dragons-loyalty-award/
