• Podcast 18: Blogging 101

*** I’ve been asked questions about blogging recently, and so this podcast is for those of you who are thinking of setting up a blog and includes all the basic preliminary questions that should be considered before making the commitment. You have to begin at the beginning…which is to say…why will you blog and what do you hope to achieve with it? This podcast is not about creating a money-making blog. This one centers on creating a platform for which you will share your ideas and creativity. So, if you’re in the market and are shopping for reasons to create a blog, this is where you can begin. xx Stephanie…

  • FROCKTOBER Week 2 for Ovarian Cancer

I’ve been hit with a pretty miserable cold this week, but I powered through, so I didn’t get to post last week’s outfits on Sunday. I’m coming out of the illness now–the change of season always gets to me–and I’m sharing what I wore for Week 2 of Frocktober. Thank you to those of you who have donated to Ovarian Cancer. These brave women need our support, and that’s what FROCKTOBER is all about–to help raise awareness of this disease. You can still help by clicking here and making a donation of any size. THANK YOU. • Giving Thanks To You

Yes, it’s that time of the year. Time to be thankful for people and blessings. As it’s officially Thanksgiving holiday break for me, I’d like to take a moment to thank you, the readers and supporters of Steph’s Scribe. If it weren’t for readers, we bloggers wouldn’t be doing what we do. From the days when we wrote in journals and didn’t have the vehicle to share our thoughts or ideas, it’s wonderful to have that access through this platform; I’m thankful for the opportunity and take my responsibility of writing for you seriously. It’s an outlet for me, I take great pride in it, and I never want to…

These little pieces of inspiration are vital to your success; they help you nurture your creative side, but that…

  • Happy 3-Year Anniversary!

I just popped on to check my stats for the day, something we bloggers who take this seriously often do. (I’m nearing the 100,000 mark—a significant milestone to only one person—me). Anyway, when I logged on I had a little message from WordPress, my content management site, and it said, “Happy three-year anniversary!” I’ve been doing this for three years. I can’t believe it. I must have a big mouth, because I always have something to say. I may get writer’s block here and there, but then it always comes back to me. I enjoy “talking” about things on the blog, and even if people don’t actually comment here, they…
