Totally Slacking Off
I admit it. When I’m not working and am at home, I’ve been doing a lot of slacking off. It hasn’t been because I’ve wanted to, necessarily, although I do believe the “break” has helped my mental state a bit. But let me explain. My ER Visit, Back Pain, and The People You Can Count On
Well, dear readers, it’s been a while. I’m offering my apologies and an explanation. Had I not been flat on my back and/or writhing in pain for the last 11 days (although each day did get a little better), I may have been able to concentrate and write a blog post. Being immobile for a period of time gives a person a lot of time to contemplate things—lots of things, even if they were fuzzy at times due to the drugs. *** Hi there! I feel as if I’ve been away from my blog for a while, and I actually have, although it’s been entirely unintentional. Today, I wanted to explain why, especially as I wanted to write about the past week, which has been somewhat momentous for my family. My son started his freshman year at a university, and it’s not the one where I teach. The preparation, though, was all that you’d expect.
