As some of you may have seen on my stories, I gave thought to changing the name of this book to make it more "appealing" to those who may not LOVE baseball as I do. Then, I changed my mind...and the cover. It is a story about a woman who works in baseball, but it's about relationships. It's about a love triangle. It's about learning to cope with the death of a beloved father. It's about friendship and navigating the early days of a professional career.
I am so tired of saying no, waking up in the morning and recalling every single thing I ate the day before, counting every calorie I consumed so I know just how much self loathing to take into the shower. I'm going for it. I have no interest in being obese, I'm just through with the guilt.
What a great couple of days spent with family! We loved seeing our cousins and getting to know our sweet Pearl! We are very blessed to have these people in our lives!!!
The house is always the cleanest when company is coming. 🥳 Tonight, we’re hosting my aunt, uncle, and my cousins @vanessagutierrez27 and @tanogutz88 and I get to meet their 3-year-old Pearl for the first time. I can’t wait to see them all!
I’ve worn a lot of dresses in my life, but none got as many compliments from strangers as this one I wore in Baltimore over the weekend. Go figure.🤔
Repeat daily, especially when it gets tough. Stay tough. Stay focused. You can do it.
Back where it all began.

As I mentioned yesterday, it’s important that we support each other as we continue on our writing journeys. I just finished reading this book by fellow author @didi_cooper_writer. Didi will sweep you up into this romantic fairytale that takes place over the span of 30 years. With great description, featuring magical Kennebunkport, Maine, as the backdrop along with Alexandria, Virginia, Didi craftily lays out this tale of love, family, and secrets that allow you to get to know the characters. Browseabout Books is another great indie bookstore in Rehoboth Beach! This bookstore has a lot of charm and fits right in with the whole beach vibe. It also has great writing journals, toys, puzzles, and magazines.
