Progress can feel slow, but it can also be rewarding when you let characters marinate for a while. In the early hours or in the late evening, things begin to happen. Something you didn’t know about them quietly emerges, and your fingers can’t stop typing fast enough.
It’s kind of like when that relationship you’re in moves past the awkward introductory phase and starts to become much deeper, richer. This is how the magic of writing explodes into the reason why you write: meaningful storytelling has planted its roots, and everything gels.✨
